About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive SEN TA to support a little boy in Year 5 1:1 at a lovely school in the heart of Angel, Islington. The child is non-verbal and requires constant supervision throughout the day. As a resilient and experienced SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the child's educational and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEN practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy towards students with additional needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
