Job description

A Bolton primary school in Ladybridge is seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team after half term. This is a full-time position that offers employment for the remainder of this academic year and the following year. The school is looking for a dedicated individual to support the teaching staff in delivering quality education to primary school students. About the Role: Flexible role across the school, supporting different classes and occasionally working with students with special educational needs (SEN) Provide support to teachers during their PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time by covering classes and utilizing the planned lessons provided by the class teachers Assist in planning and implementing engaging lesson activities under the guidance of the class teachers Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and help with assessments Occasionally lead classes and ensure the smooth running of activities Requirements: At least 1 year of previous teaching experience in a primary school setting Knowledge of the primary curriculum and teaching methods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students Flexibility and adaptability to work across different classes and support students with varying needs Ability to provide PPA covers and lead classes using planned lessons Zen Educate offers numerous benefits for teachers and teaching assistants.
