Job Post: Primary Teaching Assistant About the Role: We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school located in Newham. The role primarily involves lunchtime supervisory duties, either inside the dinner hall supporting children or outside on the playground. While there will be SEND children on the playground, this position does not require 1:1 support. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and work until the end of the spring term (March 2024). The mid-day timings for this role are from 12:00 to 1:15 each day. Requirements: - Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred. - A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing the development of primary school children. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both children and staff members. - Patience, empathy, and understanding to cater to the diverse needs of the children. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff. - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
