A new primary pupil referral unit is looking for Learning Support Assistants to start in September.
The successful candidate will support small classes of 6-8 pupils with their learning throughout the day.
Due to the nature of the school, the successful candidate should also be confident encouraging learning with pupils with different special educational needs and dealing with some challenging behaviour.
The pay for the role is higher than standard teaching assistant positions in mainstream schools to reflect the challenging environment.

Schooll starts at 8:30 and successful candidates will finish at 13:00 every Friday!
The other weekdays usually end at 16:30. Lessons actually end at 14:45 but you will participate in other activities and training with the rest of the staff the rest of the day.
