As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting our students' academic development. Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave in our school. You will be responsible for planning, preparation, and marking of books for your class of Year 1 students. You will work closely with our team of educators to create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic achievement. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners in the class Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assess and evaluate student progress, and provide regular feedback to parents and carers Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues Mark and assess student work, and provide feedback to students to support their learning Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required Ensure that all classroom activities are conducted in a safe and supportive manner Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements Tuesday evening briefings and Thursday morning briefings Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1 Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Year 1 Experience planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all learners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with assessment and tracking systems Ability to plan and organise your work effectively Passionate about teaching and committed to supporting the academic development of your students Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunities for professional development Access to on-site facilities and resources Collaborative and supportive working environment
