Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant team at a Croydon Secondary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in year 7-11.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that are engaging and challenging for all students.
Ensure that lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of individual students and to promote progress and achievement.
Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to develop students' mathematical skills, knowledge, and understanding.
Monitor and track the progress of all students and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and assessment materials.
Contribute to the school's extra-curricular program and participate in school events and activities.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the well-being and development of all students.
Keep up-to-date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new ideas and approaches into teaching practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.
Knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum for key stages 3 and 4.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
