About the Role:
- Supporting a child with undiagnosed needs in a Nursery class at a mainstream primary school in Croydon
- Providing 1-1 support to ensure the child's educational and social development
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborating with other teaching assistants and professionals to implement strategies and interventions
- Helping to monitor and track the child's progress and reporting to the class teacher
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with ADHD
- Knowledge of effective strategies and interventions for supporting children with ADHD in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the child, parents, and other professionals
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or willingness to work towards one
