This "Outstanding" school in Birmingham is seeking a highly driven SEN TA to support within a reception class setting. This full-time role will include supporting students who have additional needs relating to Autism and Trauma.
About the Role:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other teaching staff to develop individualized education plans
- Support students with personal care needs, if required
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs
- Experience working with students with Autism and/or Trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, resilience, and empathy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students
