Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school located in Leeds. The successful candidate will primarily work as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and challenging behavior. Previous experience in this area is preferred. This is a full-time position, requiring availability for 5 days a week. Requirements: - A passion for working with students with special educational needs - Previous experience supporting students with SEMH and challenging behavior - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment - A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children Qualifications: - Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - Relevant experience supporting students with SEMH and challenging behavior - Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions - Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures related to safeguarding and child protection
