Job description

A primary school in Sale is seeking a highly committed and professional individual to take on the dual role of HLTA to support in our infant classes and to carry out the day to day management of the school’s out of school club. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children with autism in their learning and development, both academically and socially. You will create a safe and engaging learning environment, monitor and assess progress, and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. You will also work with parents and other professionals to develop individualised education plans for each child and collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure consistent and effective support for all students. The role will be split between afternoons and mornings and shift patterns can be decided.
