School is looking for a SEN TA To work generally in the mornings with year 3 and then Year 5v1:1 in the afternoon.
TA Requirements: SEN Experience, Level 3 Qual, Consistency, Someone who can hit the ground running but also wants the learn.
Primary Teaching Assistant
This lovely school in Birmingham is looking for an experienced SEN TA to support them long-term. The role is full-time and will involve providing support in a Year 3 general class in the mornings, and working 1:1 with a Year 5 pupil in the afternoons, who has limited verbal vocabulary, and finds it difficult to interact with other pupils in class.
Children requirements: x 8:30am arrival, go straight to support in Y3
- 8:40am - 12:00pm, supporting in Y3 as a teaching assistant, supporting small groups and specific children as directed by class teachers
- 12:15pm - 3:20pm, supporting a child in Y5 with complex communication and learning needs. This child will need support to access the curriculum. Lessons and activities will need to be scaffolded to support their understanding.
