A SEND school based in Birmingham are seeking a SEND Teaching assistant to join the team on a longterm basis working within KS2 (aged 7 - 11 years) with a diagnosis of ASC and severe (SLD) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) the class sizes are very small with an average class size of 9 pupils, with 3 teaching assistants and a teacher across the school.
The school really invest in staff and will support with training for Makaton, PECs and SEND related training to upskill staff who have a passion for SEND.
Experience working with SEND either within a school setting as a carer or foster carer etc is required to apply for this role.

- Full-time position as a SEND Teaching Assistant in KS2

Requirements:
