An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at an outstanding school in Tyldesley.
The school is renowned for its exceptional quality of teaching and learning, as well as its welcoming staff and supportive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly regarded team of professionals, committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing dedicated support to a child in reception who is joining the team in September. You will be working closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt activities and resources to meet the needs of the child. You will be required to monitor the child's progress, provide regular feedback on their learning, and liaise with parents, carers and other professionals as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an EYFS setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to adapt activities and resources to meet the needs of individual children
- A patient and understanding approach
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, starting in September but potentially before if the candidate is available. If you are passionate about supporting the learning and development of children and have the relevant skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
