This role is mainly based in Year 2, supporting a boy with ASD. He is verbal but his behaviour can be challenging. There are strategies in place that work well for him, and they are seeking a member of staff who will be able to support him effectively and help manage his behaviour.
The school has fantastic SEN provision in place, including a sensory room and a movement room. They are well-connected with a local SEN school who provide outreach and training.
You would also spend some time in Year 3 providing SEN support to children in that year group.
Trials to take place ASAP with a view to start immediately.
