School has continuous provision throughout (playful learning setting). School day organised into three teaching sessions; Book Based Learning (Literacy based), Phonics, Maths and story time session at end of day. The rest of day is 'free flow' play (as EYFS so children are free to explore or to attend adult led intervention groups).
AM Time split across three children . ASD boy who attends Sensory intervention groups until 10:15 each day. Two other pupils ; one undiagnosed ASD and another with speech and language delays/learning difficulties. Both verbal and toilet trained.
PM Child with Williams Syndrome. Delayed language skills and cognition and learning. Personalised curriculum. Supported by Newham Complex Needs Team. Presents as 3 years old. Very happy, bubbly child but can be stubborn and self-directed! Requires a cheerful, outgoing TA! Toilet trained.
Please note we expect ALL SEN TAs within the school to be open to personal care regardless of whether your pupils require it.
As a school we are focused upon play, language and communication and social skills.
