We are looking to appoint an excellent EYFS practitioner to teach in and lead our EYFS team. We are looking for someone who can bring passion and creativity to our well established, enthusiastic, forward-thinking team. This is a permanent class teacher role, however due to Maternity Leave within the department, the EYFS Lead element is to cover a 12 month period - this is an excellent opportunity to step in to a leadership role and gain experience in EYFS leadership.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing curriculum changes and developing our EYFS provision to meet new expectations alongside our existing senior leadership team.
Bluecoat Primary Academy has grown from just two classes in 2015 through to its final stage of growth at 420 primary pupils (60 per year group) in addition to a 26 place Nursery and a small Focus Provision for pupils with ASD. It has a strong set of values that are at the heart of its work and there is a clear vision for the future. We have created a truly inspiring curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of our pupils and is based on research and evidence based good practice. Our EYFS provision is a strength and well prepared to make any changes needed in line with the new Statutory Framework. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an excellent knowledge of effective teaching and learning in the Early Years, and an ability to lead change.
