We are currently seeking a proactive, experienced Secondary SEN TA to join our team at a secondary school located in Barnet. As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in their academic and personal development. This is a full-time position, requiring your availability during school hours.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field
- Experience working with secondary school students, particularly those with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you will be leading some interventions as a learning coach
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff
