The role involves working with students who have very challenging behaviour and ASD, including physically challenging behaviour. Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour and ASD
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN, including strategies to support students with complex needs
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and nurturing approach to working with students
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field (desirable)
