This large secondary school in Barnet is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team for the rest academic year. The hours are 8am-3.15pm, with a 4.15pm finish on Wednesdays.
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work across the school, providing support to children with a range of needs. This position will involve supporting a student with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a secondary school setting
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and ability to support students in their academic studies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents/carers
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and also independently when required
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with students of varying abilities and needs
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are advantageous but not required
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Additional qualifications or training related to special educational needs are desirable
