About the Role:
- Supporting students with complex special educational needs in their daily activities and learning
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering individualized education plans
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborating with other teaching assistants and professionals to meet the needs of the students
- Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with complex special educational needs
- Knowledge of different strategies and approaches to support students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with complex needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant training or experience in supporting students with complex special educational needs
