We are particularly looking for someone with KS1 classroom experience with knowledge of phonics/early reading. About the Role: - Assisting the class teacher in creating and delivering engaging lessons - Supporting individual students with their learning and development - Working with small groups of students to reinforce learning - Assisting with classroom management and behavior management - Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities - Collaborating with the class teacher to assess student progress Requirements: - Previous experience working in a primary school setting - Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and phonics/early reading strategies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well as part of a team - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children - A positive and proactive approach to supporting student learning - Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience working 1:1 is essential. About the Role: - Provide 1:1 support to a girl in year 1 with ASD - Assist in managing her behaviour and ensuring she stays on task - Collaborate with the mainstream class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment - Support the student during break times and in the breakout room, as required - Adapt teaching materials and activities to meet the student's individual needs - Monitor and record the student's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher - Work closely with other teaching assistants and staff members to promote a positive learning environment Requirements: - Previous experience working 1:1 with students with ASD - Knowledge of strategies and techniques to support students with ASD - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage behaviour effectively and calmly - Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning - Basic understanding of the national curriculum and primary school teaching methods - Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, would be advantageous
