This lovely primary school is looking for a strong general class TA to support in Year 3 and Year 4. There are some challenging behaviours within the class so someone with good behaviour management skills is a must.
***About the Role:***
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Working closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) to provide additional support
- Assisting with the implementation of EHCPs
- Managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive behaviour management strategies
- Providing one-on-one support to students with specific needs
- Collaborating with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to classroom management
***Requirements:***
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant
- Good understanding of special educational needs and experience supporting students with diverse learning requirements
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to handle challenging behaviors effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents
- A patient and caring nature, with a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students with SEN
