Working in this lovely school based in Kensington and Chelsea, you will be responsible for supporting a child in Year 2 with Autism. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student, providing them with the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting
- Knowledge and understanding of working with children with autism and the ability to implement appropriate strategies to support their learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the child's care
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young children
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (SEN) would be beneficial but not essential
