Role Overview: Position: PPA Cover Teacher Contract Length: 1 year (September to July) Working Days: 4 days/week 3.5 days: Covering Years 2 to 6 0.5 day: Leadership cover (Reception/Nursery or similar) Teaching Responsibilities: No planning required – class teachers will handle this. Marking required. PPA Cover Allocation (example schedule): 2 days: Years 2 & 3 2 days: Years 4 & 5 1 day: Year 6 (potentially split with leadership cover) Additional Notes: No built-in PPA time, but school may pay for an additional hour weekly if needed.
