This lovely Richmond School looking for 2 TAs to support in YR3, YR4, YR5 and YR6. You will be supporting students with SEN and supporting with interventions across KS2. The daily rate for this position is £90.
About the Role:
- Working as a primary teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6.
- Your primary role will be to provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to engage with the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
- You will also be involved in delivering interventions to small groups or individuals, targeting specific areas of need and providing additional support where required.
- As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, preferably within a primary school.
- A good understanding of special educational needs and the ability to provide effective support to students with SEN.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- The ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality education.
- A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to adapt your support strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
