We’re looking for an experienced primary teacher and leader to take on an Assistant Headteacher role at a primary school in Sutton.
Working closely with the headteacher and senior leadership team, you’ll help improve teaching and learning, support colleagues and ensure pupils of all abilities receive the support they need to succeed.
Key responsibilities:
Support the headteacher with school improvement priorities and day-to-day leadership.
Lead an agreed area of responsibility, such as a key stage, curriculum, assessment or inclusion.
Support and coach teachers to strengthen classroom practice.
Monitor pupil progress and help coordinate support where children need additional help.
