Nursery Early years Practitioner
About the role:
- Level 3 early years qualified full-time Monday to Fri 8-5 or 9-6
- For the right person this could be a temp to perm opportunity after 12 weeks
- Assisting the nursery teacher in planning and delivering a creative and stimulating curriculum for children babies to pre-school
- Supporting children in their social, emotional, and educational development
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery school
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's progress
Requirements:
- Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a nursery or preschool setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

The role requires full-time availability, with a minimum of 3 days a week, either Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Room leader to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for our baby room. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, promoting child development and welfare, and ensuring a positive learning experience for all children.

- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and assessment procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with Nursery Teacher and other members of the team

This welcoming nursery in Westminster are looking to recruit multiple qualified nursery practitioners across all of their age groups.
Ideally, the candidates will be taken on permanently and offered contracts.
Weeks will consist of two 8-6 days, two 8-hour days, and finishing at 2pm every Friday. Up to 45 days of holiday are on offer in this role, as the nursery take 2 weeks at Easter, over summer, and at Christmas.
