About the Role:
- A primary school in Bolton is seeking a number of Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to join their team on an ongoing basis.
- Successful candidates will be working with pupils in Year 5 who have special educational needs, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These pupils are working to a high level and require additional support in the classroom.
- The role initially lasts for 4 weeks, but there is potential for it to extend throughout the remainder of the academic year.
Requirements:
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, specifically ASD, is required.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by pupils with SEN.
- A patient and empathetic approach is essential, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Good communication skills are necessary to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- A relevant qualification in special educational needs would be an advantage.

The Governing Board are seeking to appoint qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team. You will be required to work with our children in groups and on a one to one basis, supporting in the learning environment indoors and outdoors as well as delivering interventions.
