About the Role:
This is a full-time position as a maths teacher in a Pupil-Referral-Unit (PRU) located in Oldham. As a PRU teacher, you will be working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is known for its supportive environment; however, it is important that you are comfortable dealing with low-level disruptive behavior.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Patience and resilience to manage challenging behavior effectively
