About the Role:
This is a full-time position for a Sen-school Teaching Assistant (TA3) in a PRU located in Stockport. As a TA3, you will be working across KS2 and KS3 with students who require support with their Social, Emotional, and Mental health. The students you will be working with have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and display challenging behaviours. Therefore, it is essential for you to have a calm and patient approach and maintain a composed demeanour at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- A calm and patient approach to working with students with challenging behaviours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental health needs and SEN
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
