An 'Outstanding' rated school based in Wigan is looking for an experienced and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting from January 9th.

The role of the Teaching Assistant will be split between two key areas. In the mornings, you will provide general classroom support to the teacher, assisting with tasks such as setting up the classroom, preparing materials and resources, and supporting the children with their learning. In the afternoon, you will work with intervention groups from Year 1 and Year 2, providing targeted support to help students who are struggling with specific areas of their learning.
The successful person will have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, and will have experience of working in a similar role in a school setting. They will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and learning, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently, using their own initiative to support students and contribute to the smooth running of the classroom.
