About the Role:
- In the morning, the duties will be that of a general class assistant, providing support to the Year 3 teacher and helping with various tasks such as lesson preparation, classroom organization, and assisting students with their work.
- In the afternoon, the role will transition to that of an SEN Teaching Assistant, working closely with students with special educational needs. This will involve providing one-on-one support, implementing individual education plans, and assisting with behavior management strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with special educational needs.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different tasks and responsibilities throughout the day.
- A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred, but not essential.
