SEND Teacher
Job Purpose
To plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of SEND
Teach pupils with needs including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH, speech and language needs, and physical or sensory needs
Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP outcomes
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
