Paraprofessional to join the team at an elementary school in the Placentia-Yorba Linda area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting a student's academic progress in a school setting as well as providing dedicated in-home care to a second student. You will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in students' lives every single day. Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student during the morning school session, ensuring engagement and success in daily classroom activities. Transition smoothly from the school environment to provide consistent in-home care and support in the afternoon. Assist with daily routines, learning objectives, and activities both in the classroom and at the student's home. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging the student's independence and confidence across multiple settings. Details: Schedule: 7:45 AM to 11:30 AM (school campus), followed by a 30-minute lunch, then transition to afternoon in-home care. Roles

What roles do you cover?

We help Teachers, Teachers Assistants, Teachers Aides, and Paraprofessionals find work. We work with all types of schools and help with short-term, long-term, and permanent roles. Many of our long-term roles convert to permanent roles. We make it far easier than a traditional agency for teachers to convert temporary positions into permanent ones.

Do you have early childhood or K-12 roles?

Yes. We can help with daily subbing and long-term jobs in nurseries, primary schools and secondary schools. We don't typically have jobs in higher education or college.

What areas do you cover?

We work with over 500 schools in Minneapolis St Paul - Minnesota, Denver - Colorado, Los Angeles - California and Phoenix - Arizona, San Diego California, The Bay Area California

Do you have school administrator roles?

If you're looking for teaching or teaching assistant roles, and would also be interested in admin roles, it's worth letting us know. If you're only looking for admin roles, we might not be the place for you as this isn't what we specialize in.

Do you provide any training for teachers?

Yes, we have educators on staff who offer expertise and training to Zen Educate teachers. Regions vary in the training sessions that are required / offered.

How is Zen Educate different from a recruitment agency?

Zen Educate is a technology platform to connect teachers with schools directly. Agencies are an expensive middleman between schools and teachers. They have to charge high commissions because their booking procedures are largely manual and run on outdated systems. Because we run more of the process online or on your phone, we create an experience that matches schools and teachers at a fraction of the cost.

What documents do I need to provide in the vetting process?

We'll need a photo for professional use, resume, and a document reflecting your highest level of education. In addition, we'll need a right to work and background check. Your region or school may require other training or documentation - our recruitment team will guide you through each step!
