This is a SpEd instructional aid role for a male student with multiple disabilities, Autism and vision impaired. He is in an self-contained classroom. He has Multiple Disabilities--Severe Sensory Impairment. He requires extra time, repetition learning, small group instruction, braille instruction, cane use instruction, tactile modeling and more to attend to and accomplish learning activities. This student also receives Orientation and Mobility Services and Occupational Therapy regularly. He does use a Braille writer and abacus. He does have sensitivity to sound and is very tactile. He may need help advocating for himself and moving about the campus.
