Primary Teaching Assistant - Full Time
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school located in Hillingdon. This role is within the SEN inclusion department, supporting children with ASD, severe and moderate learning difficulties, SEMH, and ADHD. The students in this department are very vulnerable and require a patient and supportive individual to assist them in their educational journey.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
- Knowledge and understanding of ASD, learning difficulties, SEMH, and ADHD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- A compassionate and nurturing approach towards children
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS) or equivalent
- Relevant certifications in SEN support or related fields
- Safeguarding training
