Primary Teaching Assistant - Year 5 SEN TA

About the Role:
- Provide support to the Year 5 teacher, assisting with planning and delivering lessons
- Work with individuals or small groups of students, addressing their specific needs and helping them achieve their full potential
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and reporting to the teacher
- Assist with the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and ability to support learning in key subjects
- Knowledge and experience of working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A patient, caring, and compassionate approach to working with young learners
