July 7th through July 24th Monday through Thursday 7:45am - 3:15pm 7:45-11:00 First Section of Students 11:00-12:00 Lunch 12:00-3:15 Second Section of Students Setting 4 school - DCD and ASD Typical Class Responsibilities Assists teachers by providing instructional support to students where differentiated/modified instruction is needed; secures the necessary equipment needed within the class to accommodate specialized student needs. Assists teachers with overseeing the safety, personal conduct, personal care, and behavior of the students; redirects students engaging in negative or unexpected behavior; documents behaviors; implements behavior support plans and monitors for effectiveness; intervenes when necessary to deescalate students deemed to be in crises. Assists with the instruction of student workers by providing guidance in the handling of industry specific tools and machinery, maintaining work areas, and preventing accidents. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

How do I interview?

To make sure you're getting bookings perfect for you, we will invite you to a 30-minute online interview with our team to learn about your experience, preferences and why you're passionate about working in education. You can do this through any smartphone or computer.

What roles do you cover?

We help Teachers, Teachers Assistants, Teachers Aides, and Paraprofessionals find work. We work with all types of schools and help with short-term, long-term, and permanent roles. Many of our long-term roles convert to permanent roles. We make it far easier than a traditional agency for teachers to convert temporary positions into permanent ones.

Do you have early childhood or K-12 roles?

Yes. We can help with daily subbing and long-term jobs in nurseries, primary schools and secondary schools. We don't typically have jobs in higher education or college.

What areas do you cover?

We work with over 500 schools in Minneapolis St Paul - Minnesota, Denver - Colorado, Los Angeles - California and Phoenix - Arizona, San Diego California, The Bay Area California

Do you have school administrator roles?

If you're looking for teaching or teaching assistant roles, and would also be interested in admin roles, it's worth letting us know. If you're only looking for admin roles, we might not be the place for you as this isn't what we specialize in.

Do you provide any training for teachers?

Yes, we have educators on staff who offer expertise and training to Zen Educate teachers. Regions vary in the training sessions that are required / offered.

How is Zen Educate different from a recruitment agency?

Zen Educate is a technology platform to connect teachers with schools directly. Agencies are an expensive middleman between schools and teachers. They have to charge high commissions because their booking procedures are largely manual and run on outdated systems. Because we run more of the process online or on your phone, we create an experience that matches schools and teachers at a fraction of the cost.

We'll need a photo for professional use, resume, and a document reflecting your highest level of education. In addition, we'll need a right to work and background check. Your region or school may require other training or documentation - our recruitment team will guide you through each step!
