Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Inclusion Manager to join our vibrant team in Liverpool. This role is integral to supporting our school's mission to nurture well-rounded individuals within a strong Catholic ethos that values respect, inclusion, and personal growth. The successful candidate will work full-time within our secondary school, collaborating closely with the Inclusion and Pastoral Teams to deliver personalised support that enables every pupil to realise their potential. The role begins immediately and continues on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a specialist team within the Inclusion Centre, ensuring all pupils have the best possible opportunity to succeed in line with the school’s expectations and ethos.
- Assist in developing and implementing personalised intervention programmes for pupils needing support with progress, learning, achievement, emotional well-being, behaviour, attendance, engagement, aspirations, or motivation.
- Support the delivery of curriculum and intervention activities, including one-to-one mentoring and small group sessions, focused on building self-esteem, emotional awareness, social skills, and positive behaviours.
- Contribute to the planning, organisation, and evaluation of support strategies, ensuring they are tailored to individual pupil needs and aligned with the school’s inclusive approach.
- Monitor and record the progress and impact of interventions, maintaining accurate logs and reports to inform future planning and liaising effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Work collaboratively with the SENDCO, pastoral teams, and external partners to ensure quality first teaching and holistic support for all pupils in the centre.
- Promote safeguarding and health and safety standards consistently, ensuring a safe, respectful environment for pupils and staff.
- Assist in behaviour management and promote the school’s behaviour policy, fostering a caring and disciplined atmosphere that reflects our Catholic values.
- Support the organisation and delivery of outreach support and early intervention programmes, working with families to overcome barriers to re-engagement and attendance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the school’s Catholic ethos, actively participating in whole school activities and reinforcing Gospel values and Catholic Social Teaching among pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
- Participate in relevant training, performance reviews, and team meetings, maintaining professional development in line with school and trust policies.
- Other duties as directed by the leadership team, consistent with the role’s responsibilities and the school’s ethos of compassion, inclusion, and excellence.
