Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour and promotes pupils' wellbeing.
- Assess and monitor individual pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet their unique needs and ensure continuous development.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH challenges, assisting them in managing their emotional needs and supporting their participation in learning.
- Collaborate with the school’s pastoral team, SENCO, and external professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans for pupils.
- Contribute to the creation of a calm and structured environment that fosters respect, resilience, and independence.
- Uphold the school’s values of respect, inclusivity, and holistic development in all interactions with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Undertake supervision duties and contribute to the organisation of school activities and behaviour management strategies.
- Keep accurate records of pupil progress and support plans, ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
