Announcing Our £2m Investment Round to Continue Our Mission of Helping Schools and Teachers

We're humbled to share that some of the UK's leading investors recently invested £2m into Zen Educate to continue our mission of giving students the best possible start by helping schools and teachers find the best opportunities for themselves.

While Zen Educate was only launched in April 2017 we have already generated significant interest from schools and teachers with over 600 schools and 5,000+ days of supply cover booked on the platform in just a few short months.

Zen Educate works by by-passing the typical agency middleman and allowing schools to search and book available supply teachers using our online platform — like AirBnB for supply teaching. Schools using Zen Educate typically save 20–30% on supply cover costs while supply teachers or teaching assistants earn more than they would at an agency.

Building world-class technology to provide the efficient platform that schools and teachers need requires time and money. This investment allows us to continue investing in the engineering, design, and infrastructure necessary to build a world-class product. It also allows us to keep expanding our team supporting teachers and schools on our platform and helping them onboard with an all-round amazing experience.

What’s next?

We’re on a mission to change the world of education recruitment and will work tirelessly to do so. It won’t happen overnight but we'll continue to push out major improvements to Zen Educate for both schools and teachers. Watch this space.
